The Lizzie Tax
I am so fucking tired of discourse. I am so tired of people posting inflammatory things on their blogs and social media, and deciphering through secondhand accounts just what the fuck everyone is talking about. I am tired of watching people argue over what is the most correct way to play pretend. It's why I try to avoid absolutes when I write, why I relentlessly taxonomize and try to break down why people are arguing. It's why I remember that I am followed by over 500 people and mostly just repost political stuff and gay porn. I was talking with Smert and they made the excellent point about how the internet erodes the barriers of context and stuff. They're smart go read their blog.
I just want this shit to end. Please stop making definitive end-all-be-all statements, or joking that certain design trends need to die, or calling people boring or whatever the fuck. To fix this I am instituting
THE LIZZIE TAX
Whenever you interject yourself into an ongoing discourse, you must immediately Reskeet girls kissing. If you start a discourse, you must Reskeet girls kissing no fewer than three times.
This is not for your benefit. It is for mine, to help balance out my feeds.
"But Liz, I don't follow anyone who draws that kind of stuff! I don't know how to find it!"
You fool.
You buffoon.
Allow me to correct your error.

(Fair warning! All of these accounts are varying degrees of NSFW, so please be aware of that).
Hamlet Machine draws some MLM/Teratophilia stuff if you're into that, but more importantly for our purposes Mickey (from Mickey and Jessica) is the woman I aspire to be. Or fuck. Possibly both.
Yanadrawspics has this pastel look to her stuff that I absolutely adore. Plus she's the first person to make fanart of my short fiction, and for that she will always have a special place in my heart.
Carmine Deville is the self-proclaimed Queen of Evil Lesbians, a title they have earned through blood, sweat, and tears. Come for the monster ladies, stay for the fancy hats.
No one does butch4butch like Fawnduu, and that alone is enough to follow her. She has multiple ongoing series you can read!
Finally, I'd be remiss not to mention Spice Aisle, who works on comics with her wife. They're so good y'all. I have a Ro plushie in my room as we speak.
These artists are all great, go follow them and give them money if you can.
